The reindeer saddle is one of the finest parts of the reindeer. It is tender, has a lovely gamey flavour and is very healthy. The reindeer and reindeer husbandry are also an important part of the Sámi cultural heritage.

A whole reindeer saddle weighs around 2 kg and is perfect to serve as an unforgettable dinner for 4-8 people.

    Wonderful meat. To make matters worse, there were two inner fillets hanging on the underside, which I took away and refroze for another meal, before we sat down to dinner on Saturday (eight hungry). Today I have cooked stock on the legs (took all night) and made stew on the meat scrapings and mushroom sauce from Saturday's dinner.
