Pheasant is an elusive game delicacy that differs slightly from other wild birds. It is flavourful but without a strong gamey taste and it is a very tender meat. The availability of a game delicacy like pheasant breast is quite limited and we are therefore very happy to be able to offer our customers this excellent game product.

To prepare pheasant breast fillets: Rub the fillets with salt and pepper. Then fry on high heat in a frying pan for a few minutes per side and let the meat rest to an internal temperature of about 55 degrees (pinkish-red). An alternative if the breasts are large is to brown them on high heat and then let them finish in the oven at about 150 degrees.

Pheasant breasts weigh 75-150g so packs up to 275g contain 2 breasts and the higher weights contain 4 breasts.

Pheasant breasts are sent vacuum packed and frozen.
