About the product

Karljohansvamp, or Stensopp, was very popular with King Karl XIV Johan and hence its name. It has an aromatic, mildly nutty flavour and is often referred to as the king of mushrooms. It is no wonder that it is one of our most popular edible mushrooms. It is very good in both soups and sauces.

Use: Crumble it directly into sauce, soup or stew. You can also soak it for at least 30 minutes and then use it as a fresh mushroom.

15g of dried Carniolan corresponds to about 180-225g of fresh mushrooms.

Have not yet had time to test the mushrooms.

          High quality game meat

Our concept is to offer the best game meat available, directly to you, the end customer. We make sure you can buy the cuts that are otherwise only sold to wholesalers and fine restaurants.

          100% natural

We would argue that there is no meat in the world that is as gentle on animals, requires so little of the earth's resources to produce, and has such a low carbon footprint as Swedish game meat.

          A healthy alternative

Game meat is naturally lean and nutritious because the animals live a free range life and graze naturally. This makes for a cleaner and healthier meat choice.
