The sirloin is one of the finest parts of the wild boar. It is a very tender, healthy and durable piece of meat that is often best cooked in a simple way to really bring out the strong and delicious game flavour in the meat.

For example, wild boar sirloin is perfect for the grill. When grilling your wild boar sirloin, season it with barbecue spice to get more flavour as the meat has quite little fat and thus not much flavour. Carefully grill the meat to an internal temperature of 58 degrees - then it is perfect as medium/medium well, light pink in colour. It doesn't have to be fully cooked. Very juicy and tender, full of flavour and incredibly delicious!

Feel free to drink a full-bodied wine with the fillet to maximise the taste experience.
