About the product

Our fantastic pikeperch, or zander, is fished in Swedish lakes or the Baltic Sea and sold in skinless fillets. The pikeperch is a larger relative of the perch, with a similar taste, and has a white, firm meat which makes it suitable for cooking in a variety of ways. Like many other fish, it is also rich in minerals, omega-3, B and D vitamins.

This fine fish is delicious when fried in butter, with or without breading, au gratin or roasted whole in the oven. And suitable side dishes that raise the meal further levels are not difficult to find. Everything from browned butter, chanterelles and bacon to white wine sauce, prawns and asparagus works superbly. Mashed potatoes, rice or maybe dill-tossed potatoes to go with it.

The pikeperch is packaged in packages of 2 fillets. The fish is sent vacuum packed and frozen.
