About the product

Traditionally graved reindeer meat is a real delicacy that suits almost every occasion. We use one of the finest and most tender parts of the reindeer - the reindeer top round. To further enhance the flavour experience, the reindeer meat has been lightly smoked in a wood-fired cold smoker in the traditional way. This takes place in a smokehouse.

The reindeer meat is excellent for slicing and eating as it is, or for use in various starters. A fabulously tasty game detail that is unique in its kind with a rich and delicious flavour in combination with the meat completely melting in the mouth.

Nutritional value per 100 grams: Energy 540 kJ (140 kcal), Fat 1.5 grams (of which saturated fat 0.6 grams), Carbohydrates 6.4 grams (of which sugars 4.1 grams), Protein 24 grams, Salt 5.4 grams.

Ingredients: Lightly smoked reindeer meat, sugar, salt.

Origin: Sweden

The meat is shipped vacuum packed and frozen.

    Doubtful

    After receiving the product, it has been in the freezer for a couple of weeks. Took it out and thawed it in the fridge. When I tasted it, it has a slightly stale and sour flavour and maybe that is exactly how it should be but it does not suit me, I will not eat or invite anyone to it.

    Too little graved

    A slightly too raw tone on the meat, could have been graved longer. Was a bit mushy in texture.
