The reindeer calf fillet is the most exclusive cut of reindeer meat and our personal favorite among all our wild game meats. It is even more tender than the already exquisite fillet from an adult reindeer – in our opinion, the best meat you can eat.

With its exceptional tenderness, the fillet literally melts in your mouth. It has a rich, natural game flavor while being highly nutritious and healthy. We are incredibly proud to offer this unique meat to our customers. Reindeer herding is also an essential part of the Sámi cultural heritage, something we at Swedish Wild deeply respect and support.

Serving reindeer calf fillet is guaranteed to impress and delight your guests. This is an exclusive and rare delicacy, as the availability of this premium wild game meat is limited.

The fillets are relatively small compared to, for example, moose fillets, and most packages contain 2–3 fillets.

For the best dining experience, we recommend pairing the reindeer fillet with a full-bodied red wine.

Ingredients: Swedish reindeer meat

Origin: Sweden. The reindeer comes from one of the Sámi villages around Arvidsjaur that own and operate Arvidsjaur Renslakt, where the meat has also been butchered and packaged.

The meat is vacuum-sealed and shipped frozen.

    Mild meat

    We fried in seconds in a hot pan and ate fresh potatoes and chanterelle sauce. The meat was nice and mild with hardly any chewing resistance.

    Nice meat, of course, but next time I will try something worse with more flavour.
