About the product
Our sliced reindeer entrecote is perfect for the grill. It comes from the reindeer bull (sarv), the larger male reindeer slaughtered in September when they are at their largest and healthiest. This means that the meat is extra juicy and therefore very suitable for grilling. Of course, it can also be cooked in a pan.
It is already sliced into large, fine slices, so just put it directly on the grill or in the pan.
Cooking on the grill:
Make sure that the meat is at room temperature before you cook it. This is a frontline meat and therefore can withstand more heat. It also has more fat and the more fat the more fried you want it, the fat should melt and be properly cooked. An internal temperature of 60 - 65 degrees will give a perfect medium rare meat. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Salt before and pepper after frying.
The reindeer entrecote is sent vacuum packed and frozen. Each package contains 2 discs.
