Suovas reindeer meat is a true Sami delicacy that, in our own humble opinion, is probably the best smoked meat available. A real treat from our northern forests with a unique and distinctive flavour.
Suovas is Sami for "smoked". Our suovas is prepared according to an ancient local method where the meat is first salted and then cold-smoked in a hut. Birch wood is used for smoking, with the grain removed to avoid soot. Smoking takes a relatively long time, often one to two days before it is time to taste. It is well worth the wait, the meat is tender and very flavourful. An extraordinary delicacy, and we are very pleased that an old tradition such as suovas smoking is preserved and used to produce this fabulous game delicacy.
Suovas steak is best enjoyed in thin slices and quickly fried on high heat in a pan just before serving.

- 1 working day: The majority of our mailings that do not have same working day delivery
- 2-3 working days: Other addresses in Sweden. Usually those that are not close to urban centres
This applies to orders placed on weekdays before 11.00 am. Some delay may occur, but 97% of our deliveries arrive on time without problems.

Perfect everything, except that the souvas was thawed which meant difficult to get thin slices, but good. And the dried was perfect, although I used to want it a little less dried when I dried myself.
