About the product

Wild boar meat is widely eaten on the continent and is particularly popular and appreciated in Germany and Italy, but is still not as common in Sweden. This is probably because the wild boar, having become extinct in the 19th century and not returning until modern times, is now a relatively young element of the Swedish fauna.

It is, however, a very good meat that we in Sweden often underestimate. In our own opinion, its flavour can best be described as comparable to the finest domestic pig sold in Sweden. Imagine a pig that is allowed to go out all year round and eat only organic food such as acorns and mushrooms and other natural delicacies - that's how wild boar tastes.

Another advantage of the rapidly growing wild boar population and the relatively low demand for the meat is that in Sweden it is often a very affordable meat compared to, for example, reindeer meat and moose meat.

The box is available in two sizes: Standard and Large and is sold at 15-20% discount compared to what the details cost individually.

The standard box (15% discount) contains:
