Renskav is a northern delicacy that can be prepared and enjoyed in many different ways. This skav recipe was developed by one of our members in our Facebook group Wild meat lovers, Tord Keinsjö.

Ingredients (8-10 servings)

  • 1500 g reindeer meat
  • 500 g onions
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 1 large leek
  • 3 dl cream
  • 100 g butter
  • Black pepper
  • Soy to taste
Chop the vegetables and mushrooms. Sauté in the butter until the onion is soft and the pork is cooked. Add the cream and seasoning. Let everything cook together for a little while. Serve in soft flatbread. Munch and enjoy
